Job summary

Drishti IAS is seeking a Video Editor cum Motion Graphics Designer to craft high-quality video content for YouTube, social media, and other digital platforms. You will edit raw footage, apply color correction and audio tweaks, and collaborate with the team to meet project objectives.

Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Blender will be used to design dynamic visuals and seamless transitions, with a focus on storytelling and visual impact across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other similar software.
• Proficiency in motion graphics design software like Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, or Blender.
• Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and creative design.

To create high-quality video content and motion graphics for YouTube , social media, and other digital platforms. The Video Editor cum Motion Graphics Designer will work on a variety of video projects, ensuring that the final output is visually compelling and meets the objectives set by the team.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Video Editing:

• Edit raw video footage into polished, professional videos for social media, websites, advertisements, and more.
• Ensure high-quality video output, including color correction, sound mixing, and seamless transitions.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand the vision and requirements for each project.

Motion Graphics Design

• Create dynamic motion graphics and animations to enhance video content, including intros, outros, and titles.
• Use software like Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar tools to design and animate visuals.
• Integrate graphics, illustrations, and text into videos to create engaging visual experiences.

Specific Knowledge & Skills

• Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other similar software.
• Proficiency in motion graphics design software like Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, or Blender.
• Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).

• Video Editing and Post-Production
• Responsible for editing raw footage into high-quality videos, ensuring they are engaging, on- brand, and meet the project’s objectives. This includes cutting, trimming, and combining footage, adding transitions, and incorporating audio elements.
• Motion Graphics Design and Animation
• Create compelling motion graphics and visual effects to enhance video content. This involves designing animations, logos, text overlays, transitions, and special effects to ensure videos are dynamic and visually captivating.
• Ensuring Consistency and Quality Control
• Maintain a high standard of quality in both video editing and motion graphics, ensuring consistency across all videos. Review final content to guarantee it meets technical specifications, color grading, and audio standards.
• Time Management and Deadline Adherence
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that video and motion graphics work is completed within set deadlines. Prioritize tasks and communicate any potential delays or issues in advance to the team.
• Staying Updated with Industry Trends and Tools
• Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video editing and motion graphics design, as well as new software and tools, to enhance creativity and production efficiency.
