Skillinabox in India is seeking a Video Editor – Social Media & Marketing to turn raw footage into captivating, high-retention content for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, ads, and campaigns.

You'll collaborate with the Social Media, Content, Design, and Marketing teams to craft videos that stop the scroll, tell a story, and drive engagement across platforms. This role offers ownership, fast-paced growth, and a chance to work directly with founders.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of video editing experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Working knowledge of After Effects.
• Ability to create engaging social media videos with strong hooks.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media videos.
• Create strong hooks in the first 1–3 seconds.
• Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, music, SFX, and B-roll.
• Repurpose long-form videos into Shorts/Reels.
• Produce multiple versions for different platforms.
• Experiment with editing styles while keeping the Skillinabox brand.
• Manage multiple edits and tight turnarounds.
• Collaborate with Social Media and Marketing teams.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Video Editor – Social Media & Marketing who can turn raw footage and ideas into engaging, high-retention content for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, ads, and campaigns.

You’ll work closely with our Social Media, Content, Design, and Marketing teams to create videos that stop the scroll, tell a story, and drive engagement.

What You’ll Do

• Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, social media, ads, and promotional videos.
• Create strong hooks in the first 1–3 seconds.
• Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, music, SFX, and B-roll.
• Edit trainer/personality-led content and repurpose long-form videos into Shorts/Reels.
• Create multiple versions of content for different platforms.
• Experiment with trending editing styles while maintaining Skillinabox’s brand.
• Manage multiple edits, revisions, and short TATs.
• Collaborate with the Social Media and Marketing teams.
