Job description

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in crafting visually engaging short-form content (like Instagram Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts) as well as long-form videos (such as YouTube videos, podcasts, or documentary-style edits). If you are a visual storyteller who understands pacing, rhythm, and narrative—and can bring raw footage to life with style—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) with strong hooks, motion graphics, and fast-paced storytelling.

• Produce polished long-form content (YouTube videos, interviews, podcasts, documentaries, etc.) with attention to flow, clarity, and engagement.

• Add text animations, transitions, sound design, background music, and color correction as needed.

• Collaborate with creative directors, content creators, and social media teams to align on project vision and goals.

• Repurpose long-form content into snackable short-form clips for social distribution.

• Ensure all videos follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.

• Manage multiple editing projects at once while meeting deadlines.

• Stay up to date on editing trends, social platform formats, and viral content strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in video editing for digital and social platforms.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (required), After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Strong understanding of pacing, cuts, visual storytelling, and audio syncing.

• Skilled in basic motion graphics, typography, and text animation.

• Knowledge of aspect ratios, export formats, codecs, and delivery requirements for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).

• Ability to take creative direction and work independently or collaboratively.

• Attention to detail with a high level of polish and precision.

• Experience with color correction and sound mixing is a plus.

• Familiarity with viral content trends, especially in the short-form space.
