We are looking for a Video Editor who can turn raw footage, ideas, and briefs into engaging video content for social media and digital marketing.

The role involves editing short-form and long-form videos, understanding the brief, maintaining brand consistency, and creating content that is visually engaging without overcomplicating the edit.

Key Responsibilites:

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms.
• Edit reels, promotional videos, talking-head videos, ads, and other marketing content.
• Work with raw footage, voiceovers, graphics, music, and other assets to create polished videos.
• Add appropriate cuts, transitions, text, subtitles, sound effects, and background music.
• Understand the objective of each video and edit accordingly rather than simply following a template.
• Maintain consistency in visual style, pacing, typography, and branding across different clients.
• Repurpose existing footage and content into different video formats when required.
• Coordinate with the content and marketing team to understand briefs, revisions, and deadlines.
• Make revisions based on feedback and ensure the final output meets the required specifications.
• Organise project files and maintain a clean workflow for ongoing projects.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a digital marketing, advertising, or content environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or other professional video-editing software.
• Basic knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of pacing, composition, typography, music, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to edit videos specifically for social media formats and audience behaviour.
