Job summary

The 1% Club is seeking a skilled video editor to join our Mumbai-based team and shape Finance With Sharan content. You will edit reels and skits that explain finance concepts with clarity, style, and premium production values.

You will lead editorial quality, manage output timelines, and collaborate with the content team to boost performance and retention. This role supports independent ownership and creative storytelling.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in short-form video editing, especially reels.
• Proven understanding of sound design and skit-based storytelling.
• Basic understanding of finance concepts and ability to visualize them.
• Leadership mindset with ability to guide editors and own output.

Responsibilities

• Edit organic and brand short-form videos (reels) for Finance With Sharan.
• Ensure all edits meet a high-quality, premium, and engaging standard.
• Produce 1 high-effort reel per day, focused on storytelling, retention, and polish.
• Edit skit-based content with strong control over timing, pacing, and sound design.
• Use sound effects, music, and beats intentionally to enhance clarity and impact.
• Create basic finance-related animations and visual explanations for short-form content.
• Maintain consistency with brand style, quality benchmarks, and turnaround timelines.
• Collaborate with the content team to improve performance and retention.
