Job summary

Beco is seeking a Senior Video Editor to join the Brand and Marketing team in Mumbai. The role focuses on editing long-form YouTube content while also contributing to Shorts and Reels when needed.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of editing experience across formats (comedy, UGC, interviews, product demos, lifestyle) and strong skills in Premiere Pro, After Effects, sound design, and color correction. A portfolio showing YouTube and short-form edits is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience editing long- and short-form social media content.
• Proficiency in the full Adobe suite, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Demonstrated experience editing comedy content, UGC, interviews, product demos, and lifestyle content.
• Basic knowledge of sound design and mixing, and colour correction.
• Basic animation experience.

Responsibilities

• Long-Form Editing – Edit long‑form YouTube content with strong narrative structure, pacing, and viewer retention.
• Short‑Form Editing – Contribute to Shorts and Reels as needed, adapting long‑form footage or shooting fresh content for short attention spans.
• Content Versatility – Edit across formats including comedy content, UGC, interviews, product demos, and lifestyle content.
• Technical Craft – Apply basic animation, sound design and mixing, and colour correction to elevate final output.
• Storytelling & Timing – Bring a strong sense of storytelling, comedic timing, and visual pacing to every edit.
• Fast‑Paced Execution – Work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround timelines and iterative feedback.

Portfolio Requirement

Candidates must share a portfolio of edited videos for review, including YouTube long‑form content, YouTube Shorts, and Reels.
