Sanjay Hari Photography is seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our photography and cinematography team. You will edit wedding, pre-wedding, maternity, baby, birthday, portrait and event videos, plus short-form social content.

Ideal candidates understand cinematic storytelling, pacing, music synchronization, color correction and professional video editing, delivering high-quality work within deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or diploma in film/media or visual communication preferred.
• 1–3 years of professional video editing experience.
• Strong portfolio of video-editing work and relevant practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Edit wedding, pre-wedding, maternity, baby, birthday, portrait and event videos.
• Create cinematic wedding films, highlight videos, teaser videos and reels.
• Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social-media content.
• Review and organize large volumes of raw footage and select the best shots.
• Create engaging visual stories through sequencing, pacing and transitions.
• Perform professional color correction and color grading.
• Synchronize video with music, dialogue, ambient sound and other audio elements.
• Add titles, subtitles, transitions, effects and basic motion graphics.
• Coordinate with photographers, cinematographers and the creative team.
• Understand client requirements and incorporate feedback and revisions.
• Complete assigned projects within agreed timelines.
• Maintain proper project files, folder structures and backups.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of client photographs, videos, personal information and other files.
• Ensure that client footage is not copied, shared, transferred or disclosed without authorization.
• Maintain the company's editing style and quality standards.
• Assist in creating promotional videos and social-media content for the company.
• Keep updated with current video-editing trends and creative techniques.
