Public Views India is seeking a skilled video editor to shape daily news bulletins and political analysis into engaging YouTube content. The role requires tight editing, color and audio polish, and collaboration with anchors and editors.

You will edit interviews, add titles, lower thirds, maps and infographics, and ensure Hindi content is accurate for subtitles and graphics, delivering high-quality outputs within strict deadlines.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Edit daily news bulletins, political analysis, and ground reports.
• Create engaging YouTube videos and Shorts/Reels.
• Edit interviews and special reports.
• Add titles, lower-thirds, transitions, maps, and infographics.
• Perform color correction and basic sound design.
• Work closely with anchors, reporters, producers, and the editorial team.
• Deliver high-quality videos within strict news deadlines.

Required Skills

• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Basic Photoshop skills.
• Understanding of YouTube storytelling and audience retention.
• Knowledge of news packaging and visual storytelling.
• Fast editing speed with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure during breaking news.

Experience

1-5 years (freshers with an exceptional portfolio may also apply).

Education

Any graduate. A diploma or certification in video editing/media is an advantage.

Language and Content

Our content is primarily in Hindi . Editors should be comfortable working with Hindi text, subtitles, and on-screen graphics.

Hiring Process

Shortlisted candidates will be given a short editing test, followed by a brief interview with the editorial team.
