Job summary

NIAT seeks a Senior Video Editor who can transform raw campus events, testimonials, reels, and regional footage into cinematic, on-brand narratives. You’ll edit regional brand content and help shape how NIAT sees students, parents, and educators across India.

As part of the creative team, you’ll collaborate with cinematographers, motion designers, and content creators across campuses, receiving mentorship from Central Senior Editors and aligning with the brand language developed at HQ.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in branded content or regional campaigns.
• Fluency in Premiere Pro (After Effects and DaVinci Resolve a plus).
• Strong narrative logic, visual flow, and pacing.
• Creative eye for music, montage design, rhythm, and reel storytelling.
• Basic sound mixing and grading skills.
• Comfortable working in high-volume, high-velocity creative environments.
• Collaborative mindset—editing is a team sport.

Responsibilities

• Edit campus videos across formats: event films, testimonials, podcast, social media reels, vlogs, and montages.
• Craft compelling narratives with strong rhythm, emotional pacing, and brand‑aligned aesthetics.
• Maintain visual consistency and excellence across regional content deliveries.
• Collaborate with campus producers and cinematographers to understand the shoot context and intent.
• Coordinate with motion designers to integrate graphics, lower‑thirds, end cards, and transitions.
• Ensure proper project structure, file naming, export specs, and delivery hygiene.
• Receive mentorship and periodic reviews from Central Senior Editors and Creative Leads.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Video Editor who can take raw energy from campus events, testimonials, reels, and regional footage, and shape them into cinematic, emotional, and on‑brand visual narratives. You'll be the go‑to editor for regional brand content and will help shape how students, parents, and educators see NIAT across India.

As a core part of the NIAT creative team, you'll collaborate closely with cinematographers, motion designers, and content creators across multiple campuses. You'll be mentored by NIAT's Central Senior Editors and aligned with the broader brand tone and storytelling language developed at HQ.

What You've Do

• Edit campus videos across formats: event films, testimonials, podcast, social media reels, vlogs, and montages
• Craft compelling narratives with strong rhythm, emotional pacing, and brand‑aligned aesthetics
• Maintain visual consistency and excellence across regional content deliveries

What You Bring

• 3-5 years of strong editing experience in branded content, digital storytelling, or regional campaigns
• Fluency in Premiere Pro (After Effects and DaVinci Resolve are a big plus)
• Strong understanding of narrative logic, visual flow, and pacing
• A creative eye for music sync, montage design, rhythm, and reel‑worthy storytelling
• Basic sound mixing and grading skills (advanced grading will be handled separately)
• Comfortable working in high‑volume, high‑velocity creative environments
