Job summary

NetPuppys, a digital marketing agency in Gurugram, seeks a Video Editor who excels at creating hooks, editing Reels and Shorts, and using AI to accelerate workflows. You will craft retention-focused edits, test variations, and stay ahead of trends to drive performance.

2–4 years of agency experience and a strong portfolio are preferred. This full-time, on-site role offers growth toward Senior Editor / Creative Lead within an AI-first team.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of video editing experience, preferably in an agency
• Strong understanding of hooks and retention for short-form content
• Hands-on with AI video/audio tools and latest editing tech
• Portfolio showcasing hooks and performance on short-form formats

Responsibilities

• Edit Reels, Shorts, and performance ads that stop the scroll
• Build scroll-stopping hooks with pattern interrupts and curiosity gaps
• Create multiple hook variations for A/B testing
• Stay on top of trending audio and platform shifts weekly

What you'll do

• Edit Reels, Shorts, and performance ads that people actually stop for
• Build scroll-stopping hooks with pattern interrupts, curiosity gaps, and trending formats
• Create multiple hook variations for A/B testing and see what converts
• Stay on top of trending audio, edit styles, and platform shifts every week

What you bring

• 2–4 years of video editing experience (agency experience is a big plus)
• Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve + CapCut; After Effects is a bonus
• Hands-on experience with AI video and audio tools
• A real understanding of pacing, retention, and platform formats
• A portfolio that shows off your hooks
