Job summary

Foreastro is seeking a creative Video Editor to join our team and produce engaging, high-quality video content for our social media channels. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience, a strong eye for storytelling, and proficiency in short-form formats like Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

You will edit both short-form and long-form content, add motion graphics, transitions, and music, and ensure timely delivery while aligning with brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit engaging videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
• Edit short-form and long-form video content as required.
• Add transitions, effects, text, subtitles, music, and graphics to videos.
• Create visually engaging content according to brand guidelines.
• Work closely with the content and social media team to understand video requirements.
• Repurpose existing content into engaging short-form videos.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing and social media trends.
• Ensure videos are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects / CapCut or similar editing software.
• Good understanding of video composition, transitions, pacing, and storytelling.
• Knowledge of basic motion graphics and visual effects will be an advantage.
• Ability to select suitable music, visuals, and effects according to the content.

Preferred

• Experience creating Instagram Reels and short-form content
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics
• Understanding of social media trends and viral content formats
• Experience working with lifestyle, wellness, astrology, or digital content brands is a plus
