Qualifications

  • Proficiency in editing software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
  • Strong creative judgement, attention to detail, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Effective communication and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
  • Prior nonprofit or social impact experience is an advantage.
  • Diploma or degree in Film, Media, Visual Communication or related field, or equivalent experience.

Role Description

This is a part-time, hybrid Video Editor role based in Guntur. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end video production tasks, including editing raw footage, assembling sequences, adding transitions, and integrating audio to produce clear and engaging content. Daily responsibilities include color grading, basic graphics creation, and motion graphics work to enhance storytelling for campaigns, events, and awareness programs. The role involves closely collaborating with the communications and program teams to understand project goals, maintain brand consistency, and deliver videos on schedule. The Video Editor will also organize and manage media assets, export content for various platforms, and ensure all deliverables meet technical and quality standards.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing for creating polished, narrative-driven content.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of footage.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to design visual elements, titles, and animated assets that support storytelling.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic audio editing tools.
  • Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to follow brand guidelines while contributing new ideas.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
  • Prior experience in nonprofit, social impact, or community-focused projects is an advantage.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
