Job summary

Impact Commune in Vijayawada is seeking a Video Editor (full-time or freelance) to craft visually compelling content for social media, YouTube, reels, ads and brand films.

The ideal candidate brings at least 1 year of experience, proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects, a strong sense of storytelling, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines. Experience with color grading and audio syncing is a plus; Telugu knowledge is a bonus.

• Edit high-quality videos for social media, YouTube, reels, ads, and brand films
• Turn raw footage into compelling stories with tight pacing and strong narrative flow
• Add motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, sound effects, and background music
• Work closely with content, design, and marketing teams to bring ideas to life
• Adapt videos to different formats and aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)
• Stay updated with editing trends, memes, and content styles

What You’ll Do:

• Edit high-quality videos for social media, YouTube, reels, ads, and brand films
• Turn raw footage into compelling stories with tight pacing and strong narrative flow
• Add motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, sound effects, and background music
• Work closely with content, design, and marketing teams to bring ideas to life
• Adapt videos to different formats and aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)
• Stay updated with editing trends, memes, and content styles

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects (basic animations a plus)
• Strong sense of storytelling & camera handling knowledge.
• Experience with color grading, audio syncing, and basic sound design
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure
• Passion for social media trends, films, and digital content

Bonus:

• Experience in editing political campaigns, YouTube shows, or brand commercials
• Knowledge of Telugu / South Indian culture if applicable
