CIEL is looking for a Video Editor to join our creative team in Chennai.

We’re not looking at degrees or years of experience. Your work matters more than your resume.

We’re looking for someone who understands internet culture and modern short-form content — not just someone who knows how to use editing software.

You should understand:

• Brain-rot / Gen-Z style Reels and internet humour
• Crazy trending transitions, edits and visual effects
• Hooks, pacing and retention
• How to make a boring piece of footage look crazy
• How to make edits feel native to Instagram instead of looking like generic corporate content
• AI tools for creating montages, visuals and creative sequences — without making them look like obvious AI slop
• When to go completely over the top and when to keep it clean

You’ll work on Reels, ads, YouTube, brand content, podcasts and experimental content with our creative team.

We want someone who doesn’t just execute a brief — you see something trending and immediately think, “How can we make this better?”
