Role Description

This full-time short form Video Editor / reel Editor role at z&co analytica | branding, marketing and business analytics is an on-site position based in Chennai. The Video Editor will collaborate with the creative, branding, and marketing teams to produce high-quality video content for campaigns, social media, presentations, and client deliverables. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing raw footage, arranging sequences, adding transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and ensuring a cohesive visual narrative aligned with brand guidelines. The role also involves preparing project assets, working with motion graphics and visual elements, optimizing video formats for different platforms, and meeting deadlines across multiple concurrent projects. The Video Editor is expected to provide creative input, maintain organized project files, and stay current with video trends and best practices relevant to branding and marketing.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including handling raw footage, structuring narratives, and managing end-to-end post-production workflows.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual tone, correct exposure and color, and enhance the overall look and feel of content.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, overlays, and simple animations that support branding and marketing objectives.
• Candidates should be proficient with industry-standard editing and design tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent).
• Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams in Chennai.
• Candidates should have relevant experience in marketing, advertising, or branding environments; a degree or diploma in Film, Media, Design, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
