Job summary

Edureka in Bengaluru is seeking a Video Editor with 1-3 years of experience to join our in-house creative team. You will edit educational, marketing, and social content, turning raw footage into polished videos that align with Edureka's brand.

Key duties include editing across courses and campaigns, collaborating with designers and marketers, adding captions and motion graphics, and adapting long-form content into reels and shorts. A strong portfolio is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional video editing experience.
• Strong understanding of video editing, audio cleanup, storytelling, pacing, composition, and visual flow.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Audition and Illustrator is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across videos.
• Ability to translate briefs into engaging video content.
• Good communication skills and ownership.
• Experience working with green-screen footage.
• Familiarity with AI-powered video tools.
• Strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing video editing work.
• Familiarity with YouTube workspace Tools & Software Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator; familiarity with AI video tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Edit video content for educational courses, explainer videos, social media, YouTube Long-form videos, Shorts, and marketing campaigns
• Work with raw footage, voiceovers, screen recordings, stock footage, graphics, and other visual assets to create polished videos
• Create engaging edits using effective pacing, cuts, transitions, music, sound effects, and basic motion graphics
• Collaborate with designers, content writers, instructional teams, and marketing stakeholders to understand briefs and deliver videos according to requirements
• Add captions, subtitles, typography, logos, transitions, and other supporting visual elements while maintaining brand consistency
• Assist in editing instructor-led and educational content while ensuring clarity, flow, and viewer engagement
• Repurpose long-form video content into short-form formats such as Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media videos
• Organize and manage project files, footage, assets, and editing timelines efficiently
• Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders and make revisions within project timelines
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting production deadlines
• Comfortable working with different video formats, resolutions, aspect ratios, and frame ratesRequired
