Job summary

ShopOS, an AI-first ecommerce platform, seeks a Video Creator to shape brand visuals at scale. You’ll edit product explainers, launch campaigns, and social content using Generative AI tools, driving fast, high-quality output for multiple formats.

You’ll collaborate with the Creative Director and cross-functional teams to maintain strong storytelling, pacing, and brand consistency across campaigns.

Qualifications

Experience as a video editor in a creative agency, brand, or studio.
Strong portfolio and storytelling with good pacing and emotional flow.
High proficiency with Generative AI tools and AI-assisted workflows is mandatory.
Understanding of prompting for image, video, and creative generation workflows.
Proficiency in video editing tools and cinematic editing style.

Co-founded by seasoned builders with multiple successful exits to companies like Scapic & Polygon Labs, and we’re backed by Binny Bansal. This isn’t just another start-up — it’s a front-row seat to the next big shift in ecommerce.

As an AI Video Creator at ShopOS, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our brand, products, and partner brands are experienced visually across digital platforms. This is an AI-first creative role built for editors who understand modern storytelling, move fast, and know how to leverage Generative AI tools to create high-quality visual content at scale.

We are looking for someone who combines strong editing fundamentals with deep proficiency in AI-powered creative workflows, prompting, and visual ideation. From product explainers and launch campaigns to cinematic social content and D2C creatives, your work will directly influence how audiences engage with our brand. You’ll collaborate closely with our Creative Director, design team, product team, and external collaborators to build visually compelling narratives that are fast, scalable, and creatively differentiated.

What You’ll Own

Edit high-quality videos for product explainers, launch campaigns, social media, performance creatives, and brand storytelling
Build AI-first creative workflows using Generative AI tools for ideation , visual generation, enhancement, animation, and storytelling
Use prompting effectively to generate visual concepts , shots, references, transitions, and creative outputs
Transform raw footage, screen recordings, AI-generated assets, and mixed media into polished, engaging narratives
Add motion graphics, typography, transitions, VFX, and sound design to elevate storytelling quality
Adapt content across multiple formats including Reels, YouTube, LinkedIn, ads, and product showcases
Work cross-functionally with product, design, and marketing teams to execute high-volume creative output at speed
Continuously experiment with emerging AI tools, workflows, and storytelling formats to push creative boundaries
Maintain high visual consistency, pacing, and brand quality across all deliverables

What We’re Looking For

1 - 4 years of experience as a video editor in a creative agency, brand, or studio
Strong visual portfolio and storytelling skills with a sharp sense of pacing, composition, and emotional flow
High proficiency with Generative AI tools and AI-assisted creative workflows is mandatory
Strong understanding of prompting for image, video, and creative generation workflows
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut proficiency is a plus)
Basic to intermediate motion graphics and animation skills
Strong visual design sense, typography understanding, and cinematic editing style
Experience working with sound design, music, and rhythm for storytelling impact
Ability to work in fast-moving environments and deliver multiple iterations quickly
High attention to detail, creative ownership, and strong execution quality

Bonus Points

Experience using tools such as Runway, Kling, Veo, Midjourney, Freepik AI, Seedance, Sora, or similar AI creative platforms
Understanding of AI-assisted ad creation workflows and short-form content systems
Experience working on D2C or eCommerce brands tech products, or social-first campaigns
Prior experience editing product-led videos or UI walkthroughs
Skills in 2D/3D animation, color grading, or cinematography
Understanding of visual storytelling for performance marketing
Background in scriptwriting or directing is a plus
