Job summary

Truffaire Studio is seeking a hands-on Video Editor to own edits end-to-end—from raw footage to graded, sound-designed delivery—for a small set of brand projects.

You will edit brand films and ads, apply color grading and simple sound design, build motion graphics, and deliver platform-ready versions (vertical, square, etc.) from briefs. A strong reel and proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects are essential. Our team values initiative and file-organization discipline.

Qualifications

• 2+ years editing professionally with a portfolio.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Able to deliver end-to-end edits from brief to delivery.
• Strong reel or portfolio required.

Cut brand films, advertisements and short-form video for Truffaire Studio and its clients. You will own edits end to end — from raw footage to graded, sound-designed, delivery-ready output — across a small number of brands rather than a queue of unrelated jobs.

• Handle colour grading and sound design on your own edits.
• Build motion graphics, typography animation and logo animation where the cut needs them.
• Produce platform-specific versions — vertical, square, cutdowns — without re-editing from scratch.
• Work from a brief, and push back on it when the footage says something different.
• Keep project files organised well enough that someone else could open them.

Requirements

• 2+ years editing professionally, with work you can show.
• Adobe Premiere Pro to a working professional standard.
• After Effects for motion graphics and titling.
• Colour grading and basic sound design.
• Able to take an edit from brief to delivery without supervision.
• A reel or portfolio. What you have cut matters more than where you studied.

Bonus

• DaVinci Resolve for grading.
• Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience with AI-assisted editing tools, used deliberately rather than as a shortcut.
• Shooting experience — camera, lighting, or direction.
