Location: Bangalore (in-office preferred; remote can be considered for exceptional candidates)
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience: 1–3 years (minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience mandatory)
AdGraam is an AI-powered ad creation platform built for D2C and e-commerce brands. We help brands create, test, and improve advertising creatives using AI-powered workflows, video generation, and performance insights.
We’re looking for a Video Editor who understands that great ads do more than look good — they grab attention, hold viewers, and drive action. You’ll work on short‑form video ads, UGC‑style content, Reels, and AI-generated creatives, turning raw footage and generated assets into polished videos ready for real advertising campaigns.
If you understand social media trends, have a strong creative eye, and enjoy experimenting with different hooks and editing styles, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Edit short‑form videos: Create engaging 15–90‑second videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and paid advertising campaigns.
- Bring creative ideas to the edit: Work with creative briefs while contributing your own hooks, storytelling techniques, pacing, and visual ideas.
- Work with AI-generated content: Turn AI-generated clips, raw footage, voiceovers, and other assets into polished, cohesive video ads.
- Create multiple ad variations: Experiment with different hooks, opening shots, cuts, captions, and formats to produce variations for creative testing.
- Add captions and graphics: Use text overlays, subtitles, and graphics in Hindi, Hinglish (Roman script), and English while maintaining visual consistency.
- Understand performance‑driven editing: Use feedback and available ad performance insights to improve hooks, pacing, viewer retention, and creative effectiveness.
- Manage multiple projects: Prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, handle revisions, and maintain consistent quality across deliverables.
- Maintain organised workflows: Keep project files, generated assets, exports, and video libraries structured and easy to access.
- Collaborate with the creative team: Participate in brainstorming sessions, creative reviews, and feedback discussions to improve the final output.
Must‑Have Skills
- At least 1 year of hands‑on video editing experience, ideally working on ads, Reels, social media content, or brand videos.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating editing ability, storytelling, and creative execution.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar professional editing software.
- A solid understanding of short‑form content, including hooks, pacing, retention, transitions, sound design, and social media trends.
- Comfort working with Hindi, Hinglish, and English content.
- The ability to turn a brief into a clear, engaging video without relying entirely on step‑by‑step instructions.
- Strong time management and the ability to handle multiple deliverables without missing deadlines.
- Openness to feedback, attention to detail, and a willingness to experiment with new editing approaches.
Good to Have
- Experience with Adobe After Effects, motion graphics, or animation.
- Hands‑on experience with AI image generation, AI video generation, AI voiceovers, or text‑to‑speech tools.
- A strong design sense, especially with typography, colour, composition, and text placement.
- Experience editing performance marketing creatives for D2C or e-commerce brands.
- Familiarity with UGC‑style ads, product videos, creator content, and direct‑response advertising.
- An understanding of how different creative angles and ad variations are used in paid campaigns.
Location & Work Arrangement
- Preferred location: Bangalore, with in‑office work preferred.
- Employment: Full‑time.
- Candidates based in Bangalore are preferred. Remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates with the right skills, equipment, and working discipline.
Note for Remote Candidates
Candidates applying for a remote arrangement must have:
- A reliable laptop or desktop capable of handling professional video editing.
- Stable, high‑speed internet.
- Reliable power backup, such as an inverter or UPS, for both the system and internet connection.
Power cuts or preventable equipment and connectivity issues cannot be a recurring reason for missed deadlines.
- Work on real advertising creatives: Create videos intended for live campaigns across D2C and e‑commerce brands.
- Explore AI‑powered production: Gain hands‑on experience with AI image, video, and audio workflows.
- Learn performance‑driven creative thinking: Understand how hooks, creative angles, and variations contribute to advertising performance.
- Experiment and improve: Test different approaches, learn from feedback, and refine your editing skills.
- Work at the intersection of creativity and technology: Be part of a team building new ways to produce advertising content.
