Role Description

The Video Editor role at Pulled Pixels is a full-time, on-site position based in Ambala. In this role, the Video Editor will work closely with the creative team to edit raw footage into engaging videos, reels, and branded content aligned with client goals and agency standards. Day-to-day tasks include assembling and trimming clips, adding transitions, sound, and effects, performing color grading, and integrating motion graphics and visual elements that enhance storytelling. The Video Editor will collaborate with designers, content strategists, and other creatives to maintain consistency with brand identity, optimize content for digital and social platforms, and deliver projects on schedule. The role also involves organizing media assets, staying current with editing trends and tools, and contributing creative ideas to campaigns and visual narratives.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Video Editing and Video Production skills, including proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and quality across diverse formats and platforms.
• Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills, including experience with tools such as After Effects or similar for creating dynamic visual elements and overlays.
• Candidates should have a solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and sound design, along with attention to detail and the ability to translate creative briefs into compelling video content.
• Candidates should demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, familiarity with social media content formats, and a portfolio showcasing relevant work; formal education in film, media, design, or a related field is a plus.
