Job summary

Omni Studio in Nashik is seeking a senior video editor who will own the video craft across long-form, short-form, and clips. You will set templates, hook patterns, pacing rules, and B-roll libraries, leading a team of junior editors and coordinating with the Marketing Manager on weekly content priorities.

You will report to the Marketing Manager and ensure a single, consistent voice across channels while testing new AI tools and tracking performance metrics to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years in high-volume multi-format video production.
• 2+ years managing a team of video editors.
• AI-native: Runway, Sora, Kling, Pika, or Descript is daily workflow
• CapCut (advanced) + Adobe Premiere (intermediate) + DaVinci Resolve basics
• Has set an editing quality bar at a previous role
• Comfortable with a high-volume daily cadence across multiple channels
• Editing is your primary skill.

Responsibilities

• Set the editing quality bar across all video output—long-form, short-form, clips, derivatives, thumbnails.
• Build the templates, hook patterns, pacing rules, and B-roll libraries the team uses.
• Run 1:1s with each junior editor (career + craft feedback, same-day turnaround).
• Hands-on editing for the harder pieces and the quality bar's reference work.
• Test and integrate new AI video tools within the week they drop.
• Review analytics across all video channels and iterate on templates weekly.
• Report quality + throughput + tooling to the Marketing Manager monthly.
• Maintain one voice identity per channel—stable for years, versioned, with monthly voice calibration checks.

About the Role

You own the entire video craft across every type of video that ships from our team. You set

the templates, hook patterns, pacing rules, and B-roll libraries; you lead a team of junior

video editors; you work directly with the Marketing Manager on weekly content priorities.

You report to the Marketing Manager.

What You'll Do

• Set the editing quality bar across all video output — long-form, short-form, clips, derivatives, thumbnails
• Build the templates, hook patterns, pacing rules, and B-roll libraries the team uses
• Run 1:1s with each junior editor (career + craft feedback, same-day turnaround)

What We're Looking For (Must-Have)

• 2+ years managing a team of video editors at an agency, MCN, or brand video team
• AI-native: Runway, Sora, Kling, Pika, or Descript is part of your daily workflow
• CapCut (advanced) + Adobe Premiere (intermediate) + DaVinci Resolve basics
• Has set an editing quality bar at a previous role
• Comfortable with a high-volume daily cadence across multiple channels
• Editing is your primary skill

What We're Looking For (Preferred)

• YouTube SEO: titles, tags, descriptions, end-screens, cards
• After Effects basics: motion graphics, text animations, beat-sync
• Thumbnail design: Canva or Photoshop, contrast + hook fundamentals
• Has shipped video at scale across multiple channels and formats
