Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited seeks a Hardware Engineer to plan, design, verify and test electronic systems across Digital/Analog/RF/optical domains. You will work on testbench development, Verdi debugging, and EDA tools with a focus on high-quality verification and collaboration with cross-functional teams in Bengaluru.

The role requires a strong foundation in SystemVerilog/UVM, exposure to video pipelines, and scripting with Perl/Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics or related field.
• 1 to 13 years of experience.
• Strong in SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Experience with testbench development and stimulus/monitor.
• Debugging with Verdi and log files.
• C-based reference model exposure in testbench.
• Experience with assertion development.
• Familiar with IUS, VCS, Verdi as EDA tools.
• Scripting in Perl or Python.
• Good team player; interact with designers and verification engineers.
• Experience with video pipeline is a plus.
• Knowledge of Tensilica; sub-system verification with Tensilica.
• Experience in C-based system modelling and debugging with C models.
• Exposure to gate-level, power-aware, formal verification, emulation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
• Looking for candidates between 1 to 13 years of experience.
• Worked on coverage driven module verification.
• Strong in System Verilog, UVM
• Sound experience in testbench (stimulus, agent, monitor, checker) development.
• Failure debugging with Verdi & log file.
• Worked in the verification having c based reference model inside the testbench
• Experience with assertion development.
• Familiar with the EDA tools IUS, VCS, Verdi etc.
• Exposure in scripting(perl, Python).
• Good team player. Need to interact with the designers and other verification engineers proactively.
• Prior experience with video pipeline is added advantage.

• Worked with sub-system verification with tensilica
• Experience in C based system modelling.
• Debug with C based reference model.
• Have exposure to the other verification tasks : gate level simulation, Power aware simulation, formal verification, sub-system verification and emulation.
