HITACHI VANTARA INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Vice President, Statutory Accounting & Audit Lead to oversee statutory reporting across multiple markets and coordinate audit activities. You will manage calendars, filing readiness, and governance, guiding preparation and escalation of complex accounting judgments.

The role requires leadership of distributed teams, strong stakeholder management, and deep knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Statutory Accounting & Audit Lead to oversee statutory reporting, accounts production, and audit coordination across multiple markets. The role includes managing reporting calendars, audit plans, filing processes, evidence repositories, and delivery governance, while coordinating central and local finance teams. The successful candidate will guide statutory accounts preparation, audit evidence and request workflows, and filing readiness, escalating accounting judgments and disclosure matters to the appropriate owners. They will also standardize processes, monitor risks and deadlines, and report on delivery progress.

Candidates should have experience in statutory or financial reporting, audit coordination, controllership, or finance operations in complex, multi-entity environments. Strong knowledge of statutory accounts preparation, audit workflows, financial close, balance sheet substantiation, IFRS, and local GAAP is required. The role calls for proven leadership of geographically distributed teams, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to manage competing priorities and regulatory deadlines. Experience in process standardization, governance, and external audit support is expected; a finance, accounting, or business qualification is required, and a professional accounting qualification is preferred.
