Job summary

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) is seeking an experienced Treasury professional to market and execute FX and derivative products for Corporate clients in North India. The role involves structuring transactions, onboarding clients, and ensuring compliance with RBI and internal SMBC guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years of Treasury product experience, with MBA or CA credentials, and a strong grasp of FX and rates derivatives.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years experience marketing Treasury products to clients.
• Good understanding of structuring & execution of Treasury products.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and market suitable FX and derivative solutions to Corporate clients based in North India.
• Work closely with Business RMs to onboard new clients.
• Originate & execute FX & derivative transactions with customers. Work closely with Trading team to ensure smooth execution.
• The role requires good understanding of structuring & executing FX and Rates derivatives.
• Ensure compliance with external (RBI, FEDAI, etc.) as well as internal (SMBC HO) guidelines at all times.

• 3. Certificate in Quantitative Finance (Fitch)
• 4. CFA / FRM
