Job summary

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) seeks an experienced Treasury professional to lead FX and derivative product solutions for corporate clients based in North India. You will collaborate with Relationship Managers to onboard clients and originate transactions, working closely with Trading to ensure accurate execution.

The role requires understanding structuring and execution of Treasury products, with a focus on pricing and selling FX/derivative products while maintaining strict

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience marketing Treasury products to clients.
• MBA or Chartered Accountant qualification.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and market FX and derivative solutions to Corporate clients in North India.
• Onboard new clients with Business RMs.
• Originate and execute FX and derivative transactions with customers; coordinate with Trading for smooth execution.
• Ensure compliance with RBI, FEDAI and internal SMBC guidelines at all times.

Job Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and market suitable FX and derivative solutions to Corporate clients based in North India.
• Work closely with Business RMs to onboard new clients.
• Originate & execute FX & derivative transactions with customers. Work closely with Trading team to ensure smooth execution.
• The role requires good understanding of structuring & executing FX and Rates derivatives.
• Ensure compliance with external (RBI, FEDAI, etc.) as well as internal (SMBC HO) guidelines at all times.

Knowledge

• Good understanding of structuring & execution of Treasury products.

Skills

• Pricing and sales of FX & derivative products.
• Expertise in execution of FX & derivative products.

Experience

4–8 years experience of marketing Treasury products to clients.

Qualifications

MBA or Chartered Accountant.

• 2. Diploma in Integrated Treasury Management
• 3. Certificate in Quantitative Finance (Fitch)
