Job Opportunity Procurement & Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for an experienced Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to lead strategic procurement, vendor management, cost optimization, sourcing, and supply continuity.

Key Result Areas (KRA)
  • 1. Cost Optimization
    Achieve annual procurement savings through negotiation, competitive bidding, vendor consolidation, and alternate sourcing.
  • 2. Vendor Management
    Identify, evaluate, onboard, and periodically assess vendors based on cost, quality, delivery, and service.
  • 3. Strategic Sourcing
    Develop sourcing strategies and alternate supplier networks to reduce dependency and procurement risks.
  • 4. Purchase Planning
    Ensure timely procurement of materials and services as per business requirements.
  • 5. Commercial Negotiation
    Negotiate pricing, payment terms, credit period, delivery schedules, warranty, and other commercial conditions.
  • 6. Quality Management
    Ensure all procured materials/services meet approved quality standards and specifications.
  • 7. Delivery & TAT Management
    Monitor POs and vendor commitments to ensure timely delivery and avoid business/operational disruptions.
  • 8. Inventory Optimization
    Coordinate with Stores and Operations to maintain optimum inventory levels and minimize excess/obsolete stock.
  • 9. Procurement Compliance
    Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval matrix, delegation of authority, and audit requirements.
  • 10. Purchase Order Management
    Ensure accurate and timely creation, approval, monitoring, and closure of POs.
  • 11. Vendor Performance Management
    Track key vendor KPIs including Quality, Cost, Delivery, Responsiveness, and Service Level.
  • 12. Procurement MIS & Analytics
    Prepare monthly MIS covering procurement spend, savings, vendor performance, pending POs, purchase cycle time, and key procurement metrics.
  • 13. Contract Management
    Manage rate contracts, AMC/service contracts, commercial agreements, renewals, and contract expiry timelines.
  • 14. Team Management
    Lead, develop, and motivate the procurement team while monitoring individual and team performance.
  • 15. Risk Management
    Identify supply-chain risks and develop alternate sources for critical materials and services.

Ideal Candidate
