Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. seeks a VP/Leadership in M&A IB to spearhead mergers & acquisitions, investments, and fundraising initiatives. The role involves leading execution teams, building financial models, conducting market analyses, and coordinating due diligence to close deals.

The ideal candidate has CA/MBA qualifications with 10–12 years in corporate finance, investment banking or private equity, and a track record of autonomous, high-pressure deal management.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience in Corporate Finance / Investment Banking / Private Equity.
• Strong understanding of investment banking and M&A.
• Experience of end-to-end deal closure.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to contribute own ideas and work autonomously.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution and day-to-day project management.
• Execute deliverables within set time lines.
• Create financial analyses including financial models and valuation.
• Build detailed financial models for various operating scenarios.
• Prepare Information Memorandum and other deliverables as required.
• Evaluate different capital structures and potential M&A or equity/debt transactions.
• Conduct market and industry research and analysis.
• Maintain market information and deal flow updates.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to deliver projects on time.
• Lead due diligence and manage queries as necessary.

VP/Leadership - M&A IB

Job Description:

Integral part of the team and work on mergers & acquisition, investments / fundraising transactions, etc.,

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• - Execution transactions: lead execution team in preparation of marketing materials/ collateral, financial modelling and valuation analysis, target and buyer/ investor screening, data-room management, due diligence co-ordination, negotiating definitive agreements, manage client requirements, lead entire end to end transaction
• - Business development initiatives: sector mapping in different industries, preparation of market, strategic and industry peer analyses, lead generation screening of potential M&A targets / buyers, assist in identifying opportunities, preparing pitch-books, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Lead execution and day-to-day project management
• - Execute deliverables within set time lines
• - Creating financial analyses(build financial models, valuation analysis, sector comparison ,merger modelling, corporate finance solutions, etc.)
• - Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios
