Job summary

Intellectual Capital Hr Consulting seeks a Vice President to own the end-to-end post-trade function for its institutional desk, reporting to the Head of Operations and leading the mid-office and back-office teams. The role requires deep hands-on knowledge of the Indian settlement cycle and strong client-facing English.

This is a full-time, office-based position with a focus on settlements, custody relationships, KYC, and regulatory compliance across multiple segments.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on command of the Indian institutional settlement cycle across cash equities and F&O.
• Minimum 4 years of leading a team.
• Client-facing English is a hard requirement.
• MBA Finance, CA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is good-to-have, not a gate.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end settlement cycle for institutional equity and F&O trades across all client segments; daily coordination with custodians on allocations, confirmations, funding and settlement instructions.
• Lead the mid-office function supporting the dealing desk, sales traders and dealers on trade queries, allocations, brokerage computation and position reconciliation.
• Own account opening across FPI / FII, FDI, DII, AIF, mutual fund, insurance and corporate treasury segments; manage KYC, re-KYC and periodic review across jurisdictions.
• Command of SEBI regulations, FPI regulations, exchange and depository circulars, PMLA and KYC norms, including sanctions screening.
• Act as senior operations point of contact for global institutional clients and their custodians.
• Drive business process reengineering, automation and straight-through processing.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end settlement cycle for institutional equity and F&O trades across all client segments; daily coordination with custodians on allocations, confirmations, funding and settlement instructions

Must have:

deep hands-on command of the Indian institutional settlement cycle across cash equities and F&O, and demonstrated ownership of custodian relationships. Retail or PMS back-office profiles will not clear. Client-facing English is a stated hard requirement.

Full-time, work from office - no hybrid option. MBA Finance, CA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is good-to-have, not a gate. Relevant NISM certifications good-to-have. Minimum 4 years leading a team is required.
