Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking a senior IB Confirmations leader to oversee and transform confirmation operations across global markets from its Mumbai base. The role blends operational leadership, governance, risk management and technology-led transformation.

You will drive data-driven performance management, automation initiatives and stakeholder engagement with Legal, Front Office and Middle Office to ensure accuracy, efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IB Confirmation experience with drafting exposure.
• In-depth understanding of IB trade lifecycle and strong control mindset.
• Executive presence and experience managing senior stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of IB confirmations, ISDA documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Experience driving automation and transformation initiatives.
• Exposure to Alteryx, Power BI, Robotics or AI-based automation would be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and ability to perform in high-pressure environment.
• MBA qualification.

• Leading confirmation drafting automation and identifying opportunities to migrate manual processes to automated solutions.
• Partnering with Legal, Front Office, Middle Office and Sales on confirmation templates and negotiations.
• Ensuring compliance with ISDA, EMIR and CFTC requirements and effective risk mitigation.
• Managing capacity planning, continuous improvement and firm-wide transformation initiatives.
• Driving operational risk, controls and process efficiency across the function.

The role combines operational leadership, governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement and technology-led transformation.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Leading governance and risk-based prioritization across IB Confirmation activities including Drafting, Affimation, Chasing and Execution.
• Driving data-led performance management, quality and First Time Right outcomes.

To be eligible for this role you will require:
