Job summary

Workplace in Gurugram is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 10+ years post-qualification experience to lead finance operations, P&L ownership, and strategic FP&A. You will manage taxation, compliance, audits, treasury, and banking while driving cost optimization and data-driven decision making.

The role requires IPO/listed company exposure and a track record of leading finance teams, with strong capabilities in MIS, financial analytics, and board reporting.

Qualifications

• CA with 10+ years post-qualification experience.
• Prior IPO exposure or experience in a listed company (CFO/Finance Head level, board reporting).
• 3+ years in a leadership role managing finance teams.
• Strong experience in P&L management, FP&A, MIS, and financial analytics.
• Background in Indian IT / B2B SaaS / B2C tech companies only.
• Stable career progression (2-3 years tenure in recent roles).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end financial operations: accounting, taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax), compliance, audits, treasury, and banking.
• Own P&L, including product-wise profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
• Drive FP&A: annual budgeting, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Publish board-level MIS, dashboards, and financial KPIs; enable data-driven decisions.
• Manage AR, billing controls, and commercial finance (contracts, negotiations).
• Ensure regulatory compliance, internal controls, and risk management.
• Evaluate pricing strategies and investment ROI.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
