Job summary

Alstom Transport India Ltd in Bengaluru invites a Senior V&V Architect to lead validation campaigns for complex embedded systems. You will define global V&V strategies, design test environments, and collaborate with system, project, product, quality and safety teams to assure high quality, cost, and delivery standards.

You will specify test architecture, prepare test sessions, perform tests, and manage test work products under configuration management, ensuring traceability to requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Engineering – IT, CS, ECE, EEE, or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience in the verification and validation of complex embedded systems.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD development, including maintaining and sustaining CI/CD frameworks.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++ and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
• Experience with RTOS (Linux, VX Works, QNX) and hardware based testing.
• Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP etc.
• Familiarity with standards such as CENELEC SIL4 / DO178A / DO178B.
• Skills in black-box software testing, automating software tests, and containerization tools like Docker or Podman.

You'll play a key role in delivering validation campaigns that ensure our systems meet the highest quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including system, project, product, quality, and safety teams, contributing to global V&V strategies, and designing and performing tests, among other responsibilities. You’ll specifically take care of specifying, designing, and validating test environments and tools, but also investigating and resolving defects identified during testing

• 15+ years of experience in the verification and validation of complex embedded systems

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++ and scripting languages (e.g., Python)
• Experience with RTOS (Linux, VX Works, QNX) and hardware based testing
