Job summary

Dianamech Engineers India is seeking a motivated Vehicle Testing & Validation Engineer to support vehicle evaluation, engine performance testing, data analysis, and benchmarking for HCV and LCV platforms.

The role requires hands-on testing using Calterm, data loggers, SILVER Scan Tool, and inline/PEAK adapters, with a focus on reporting and presenting findings to management. Freshers to 3 years of relevant experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/A automotive engineering.
• Freshers to 3 years of experience in vehicle/testing/engine performance validation.
• Experience with data acquisition tools and testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle testing and performance evaluation for HCV and LCV.
• Understand and analyze IC engine fundamentals (CI/SI).
• Work on engine systems and components.
• Support testing and analysis of aftertreatment systems.
• Evaluate engine cooling and lubrication performance.
• Analyze fuel types and their applications.
• Perform basic data analysis and interpret test results.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for management reviews.
• Use diagnostic tools and adapters (Calterm, PEAK, Inline) for vehicle communication.
• Carry out field data collection and benchmarking activities.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Vehicle Testing & Engine Performance Engineer to support vehicle evaluation, engine testing, data analysis, and benchmarking activities. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of IC engines, vehicle systems, emissions regulations, and data acquisition tools. The role involves field testing, trial analysis, reporting, and performance improvement activities for HCV and LCV platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle testing and performance evaluation for HCV and LCV applications.
• Understand and analyze fundamentals of IC engines (CI/SI engines).
• Work on engine systems, components, and their functioning.
• Support testing and analysis of aftertreatment systems and related components.
• Evaluate engine cooling and lubrication systems performance.
• Analyze different fuel types and their applications.
• Perform basic-level data analysis and interpret test/trial results.
• Provide insights and recommendations for vehicle and engine performance improvements.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and PPTs for management reviews.
• Use Inline and PEAK adapters for diagnostics and vehicle communication.
• Conduct and support fuel economy trials and validation activities.
• Perform vehicle performance testing and static benchmarking studies.
• Ensure compliance understanding of EURO, BS, OBD-I, and OBD-II emission norms.
• Use data monitoring and recording tools such as Calterm, Data Loggers, and SILVER Scan Tool.
• Follow industrial safety procedures and 5S practices during testing activities.
• Carry out field data collection, benchmarking, and vehicle validation activities.
