Job summary

Inomak Defence Systems in Pune District, India, seeks an experienced professional for Vehicle Integration - R&D. The candidate will work on vehicle engineering, integration, and development tasks, delivering CAD models and drawings for manufacturing, and coordinating component packaging for vehicle aggregates.

The role requires a BE in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering with 3–6 years in vehicle R&D, and familiarity with vehicle architecture, DFx/DFMEA, and ECN/ECR processes.

Qualifications

• BE in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering with relevant R&D experience.
• 3–6 years R&D experience in vehicle integration.
• Experience with vehicle architecture and system calculations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing via CAD.
• Support new product design and development.
• Coordinate packaging of vehicle aggregates.
• Prepare and release technical specifications.
• Monitor outdoor/indoor testing plans.
• Interact with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Prepare Certification Plan and benchmarking study.
• Knowledge of ECN/ECR processes.

Job Description - Vehicle Integration - R&D

Compulsory

Experience and knowledge in vehicle engineering and integration

Strong knowledge vehicle architecture and calculation

Aware of Component functionality, Material selection

Basic knowledge of manufacturability, DFx and DFMEA
Delivery of 3D model and 2D drawing for manufacturing through CAD

Hands on experience New Product design & Development.
Support to component packaging of vehicle aggregates

Aware of Vehicle regulatory standards

Preparing Certification Plan, Benchmarking study
Technical Specifications preparation & its releases
Outdoor / Indoor Testing Plan monitoring.
DMU Preparation & DMU feedback &finalization

Interaction with team members and other cross functions like Production / Service Having Knowledge of ECN / ECR

Work experience with Client

Knowledge of RCA, VAVE , 8D

Preferable

Co-coordinating with proto- assembly and generation of documents.

Basic Knowledge of CAE
Quick understanding in new concept and good in concept design.
Knowledge of vehicle components trouble shooting.

Knowledge of Electrical component will be added Advantage
