Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Limited is seeking an Engineer - Validation responsible for planning, executing, analyzing and reporting complete vehicle tests for Functional, Performance and Durability. The role emphasizes identifying failures and root cause analysis to ensure robust designs and reliable field performance.

You will collaborate with test teams, develop test cases, review procedures, and drive continuous improvement in quality and process while meeting project timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience 2 to 3 years in vehicle validation or a related domain.
• BE/B.Tech degree required; automotive or mechanical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Planning, execution, analysis and reporting of complete vehicle tests with respect to Functional, Performance and Durability degradation.
• Periodic measurements, life prediction and health monitoring of vehicle systems.
• Regular vehicle inspection to identify failures (static and dynamic) and perform root cause analysis.
• Timely and structured reporting of vehicle failures with probable root causes and tracking for closure.
• Coordinate time plans and optimize resources for testing activities.
• Support development of test cases, routes and procedures based on customer usage and field failures.
• Review/update test procedures / SOPs for testing.
• Handle test-related administrative activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality and testing processes.

Engineer - Validation Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Planning, execution, analysis and reporting of complete vehicle tests wrt Functional, Performance and Durability degradation.
2. Periodic Measurements, analysis and life prediction of vehicle systems
3. Regular vehicle inspection and check-up (Static and dynamic) to find out failures on the vehicles.
4. Failures diagnosis and route cause analysis.
5. Timely and structured reporting of vehicle failures during test with possible root cause and tracking for closure.
6. Time Plan and optimal resources utilization for testing.
7. Support to develop test cases, routes etc with respect to customer usage profile, field failures etc.
8. Support for review / updation of test procedures / SOPs for testing.
9. Handling the test related administrative activities.
10. Focus on continuous improvement in quality and process.
