Job summary

Insemi Technology Services is seeking a Power Design & Validation Engineer (Contractor) to support design, validation, and debugging of power delivery for high-performance computing platforms.

You will validate VRMs/PMICs, characterize power rails, and perform tests for sequencing, ripple, and efficiency, while detailing results in validation reports.

Qualifications

• Good to have CPU power validation experience with AMD/Intel data center platforms.
• Thermal characterization and efficiency analysis.
• Schematic review and VRM component selection.

Responsibilities

• Validate power sequencing, ripple, transient response, efficiency, and regulation.
• Execute power rail characterization and compliance testing.
• Support board bring-up and debug power-related issues.
• Perform measurements using oscilloscopes, electronic loads, multimeters, and protocol analyzers.
• Configure and validate PMBus/IC/SPI-based power controllers.
• Document test results, debug findings, and validation reports.
• Perform validation of VRMs, PMICs, and power delivery circuits.

Perform validation of VRMs, PMICs, and power delivery circuits.

Validate power sequencing, ripple, transient response, efficiency, and regulation.

Execute power rail characterization and compliance testing.

Support board bring-up and debug power-related issues.

Perform measurements using oscilloscopes, electronic loads, multimeters, and protocol analyzers.

Configure and validate PMBus/IC/SPI-based power controllers.
