Job summary

Cigma Medical Coding in Kerala is seeking Medical Coders (ED Specialty) for 0–2 years of ED coding experience or freshers with CPC certification. The role covers ICD-10-CM coding, chart review, audits, and billing support to ensure compliant reimbursements.

WFH not available; position is full-time at the Trivandrum office with a 2-year bond. Interviews are conducted online. Freshers will start at 23K CTC and experienced candidates depend on last CTC.

Qualifications

• Freshers or Experienced (0–2 years in ED) accepted.
• Qualification: Life Science graduates; CPC mandatory.
• Good knowledge of ICD, CPT & HCPCS and medical terminology.
• Solid understanding of anatomy, procedures, diseases and medications.
• Awareness of regulatory requirements and auditing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM codes to diagnoses from physician notes.
• Review charts and records to ensure all relevant diagnoses are captured.
• Conduct audits of records and claims for accuracy and compliance.
• Support billing by ensuring correct diagnosis codes to prevent denials.
• Ensure adherence to coding guidelines and regulations.
