Quality Assurance Tester - Manual/Automation Testing

Responsibilities

• Test and validate developed screens against Figma wireframes and prototypes provided by the UX team, identifying discrepancies in layout, functionality, and user flow.
• Conduct thorough UX evaluations to spot improvement gaps, such as usability issues, accessibility problems, or inconsistencies that could impact user satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with the UX design team, developers, testing team, and release managers to communicate findings, suggest enhancements, and ensure smooth handoffs.
• Use your knowledge of front-end technologies (CSS and HTML) to diagnose why implemented features deviate from designs and provide actionable feedback to devs.
• Participate in team meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, contributing insights on user behavior and screen interactions.
• Document test cases, bugs, and UX recommendations in tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• Stay updated on UX best practices and emerging tools to continuously improve our testing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Deep Understanding of UX Principles: Proven ability to think from the user's perspective, evaluating interfaces for intuitiveness, efficiency, and delight.
• Proficiency in Figma: Expert-level skills in navigating, inspecting, and comparing designs/prototypes to live implementations.
