Job summary

Liquidnitro Games seeks a Senior UX Designer to own the player experience and interface of a Unity top-down live game — flows, wireframes, and interaction design that make the game intuitive and delightful.

You will partner with UI art, Game Design, and engineering to turn complex systems into clear, satisfying player journeys and ensure accessibility and localization readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in game UX/product design with 2 shipped titles.
• Portfolio showing measurable UX impact and direction for teams.
• Expert in Figma / XD / Sketch and prototyping.
• Understanding of implementing UI/UX in Unity (UGUI/UI Toolkit).
• Excellent English communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

As Senior UX Designer you own the player experience and interface of a Unity top-down live game - flows, wireframes, and interaction design that make the game intuitive, readable, and delightful. You will partner with UI art, Game Design, and engineering to turn complex systems into clean, satisfying player journeys.

Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end UX for a Unity top-down game: player flows, wireframes, information architecture, and interaction design.

Design intuitive HUD, menus, and in-world UI that stay readable over a busy top-down play field.

Translate game systems (progression, economy, live-ops, onboarding) into clear, satisfying player journeys.

Partner with UI artists on visual design and with engineers on feasible, performant implementation in Unity.

Run usability reviews and playtests; iterate on data and player feedback.

Own accessibility and localization-readiness (layout, font/spacing, scalable UI).

Build and maintain UX patterns, component libraries, and documentation.

Prototype key interactions to validate them before build.

Requirements

3+ years in game development in UX / product design, with at least 2 shipped game titles (mobile / live-service a strong plus).

Proven ability to review others’ work and provide clear creative and technical direction - you have actively done this on shipped projects.

Strong flows, wireframing, and interaction design; a portfolio showing measurable UX impact.

Expert in Figma / XD / Sketch and comfortable prototyping.

Understanding of implementing UI/UX in Unity (UGUI / UI Toolkit) and its constraints.

Data-informed: comfortable with funnels, A/B tests, and playtest insights.

Strong grasp of mobile UX patterns, onboarding, retention, and monetization surfaces.

Excellent English communication and documentation; collaborative and pragmatic.

Proactive, self-motivated, and able to drive UX end to end.

Bonus

Live-service / F2P economy and live-ops UX experience.

Motion / interaction design and light UI-art skills.

Accessibility knowledge and experience localizing at scale.
