Job summary

Godrej Properties is seeking a utility technician/apprentice to assist in operating ammonia refrigeration systems, MEG chilling, and brine plant processes. The role requires hands-on experience with compressors, cooling towers, and safety interlocks.

You will be involved in monitoring equipment, taking readings, following 5S practices, and communicating issues for prompt rectification. Marathi, English, and Hindi are used on site.

Qualifications

• Authorise RAC ITI certificate.
• Apprentice experience certificate required.
• Knowledge of Ammonia refrigeration and MEG in chilling and brine plant operation.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot utility problems and take necessary actions.
• Understand safety precautions and interlocking systems.

Job description

1. Authorise RAC ITI certificate.
2. Apprentice experience certificate
3. compressor as a Ammonia refrigerant & MEG in Chilling and brine plant operation.
4. Basic knowledge in Utility trouble shooting identification and take necessary actions.
5. Basic safety precautions and interlocking system.
6. Air compressor & N2 compressor plant smoothly handle with trouble shooting identification and resolve the same.
7. Cooling tower basic parameters observations & dosing system knowledge.
8. Water meter, equipment running hours reading, required parameters within range observation maintain & if any highlight with rectification by proper communication.
9. Basic knowledge of 5 S in utility area ie proper housekeeping and related safety precautions.
10. Emergency situation handle in utility area with proper safety precautions.
11. Working in 6 days shift as well as as per company requirement adjustment in shift or General duty.
12. Common language known as Marathi, English & Hindi.
