Flipkart Commerce Cloud (FCC) seeks a Senior UI Manager to lead a 10–15 engineering team, driving strategic UI initiatives and mentoring engineers. You will collaborate with product, business, and operations to deliver scalable, high-quality frontend solutions in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in UI/Frontend engineering with leadership experience.
• Proven track record delivering high-quality projects on time.

Roles & Responsibilities (What you’ll do)

• Technical Leadership & Team Management: You not only have the technical chops to roll up your sleeves and provide technical leadership to major projects but also build and manage a team of 10-15 top-notch UI engineers & QAs.
• Strategy & Goal Management: Make sure engineers are able to optimize theirs. As a UI Manager, you manage your business goals, contribute to product strategy and help develop your team.
• Mentorship & Career Growth: Create clear career paths for team members and help them grow with regular & deep mentoring. Perform regular performance evaluation and share and seek feedback. Our world-class software engineers are just getting started -- and as a manager, you guide the way. You are their default mentor.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: You work closely with the Product Management, Business Development, and Operations team and enable them by providing scalable and high-quality technology solutions at a rapid pace.
• Project Planning & Architecture: You set up best practices for development and champion their adoption and at the same time Architect & design technically robust, flexible, and scalable solutions. You work with UI designers, business analysts, and product managers to estimate and plan projects in an Agile environment.
• Thrive in Ambiguity: Operating with scale and speed amidst flux, there is just a LOT happening. Perform well in uncertainties and collaborate and work with unclear interfaces to other teams in our rapidly evolving organizations.

Experience & Qualifications

• Overall Experience & Leadership: A minimum of 10 years of experience in UI/Frontend engineering, including a proven track record of managing larger engineering teams and delivering high-quality projects on time.
• Coaching: Experience with building, developing, and coaching teams that have some of the best technical talent in the industry.
• Innovation: Experience with new open-source technologies and driving their strategic adoption into product development.
• Testing & Execution: Solid experience establishing UI testing strategies alongside QA teams, and driving execution within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Education Qualifications: BTech/BE, MTech/ME or MSc. Integrated in any engineering or science disciplines.
