Job summary

Trane Technologies, a world leader in sustainable climate solutions, seeks a UX Designer to champion the user perspective across digital product lifecycles. You will lead user research, design thinking activities, and create intuitive experiences in an agile setting to translate business goals into high-quality designs.

Collaborating with product, development, and research teams, you will contribute to a unified design system and ensure consistency across applications, driving user satisfaction

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in user experience or interactive design for web and mobile applications within an agile environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
• Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Axure, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user experience design expertise.
• Ability to work effectively with research partners, design agencies, and implementation vendors.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Communicate design decisions, rationale, and best practices to stakeholders at all levels.

• Partner with the UX Research team to interpret analytics, conduct usability testing, and support user research.
• Work independently with strong ownership, initiative, and accountability.
• Advocate for design thinking, user-centered design, and user research within the organization.
• Produce UX deliverables including personas, journey maps, sitemaps, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and style guides.

Job Summary

The User Experience (UX) Designer champions the user perspective across all stages of the digital product lifecycle. This role leads and supports user research, facilitates design thinking activities, and creates intuitive, user-centered digital experiences. Working in an agile environment, the UX Designer translates business objectives, user needs, and technical requirements into high-quality designs that elevate customer and partner experiences and drive consistency across the organization.

• (Preferred) Experience in HVAC or manufacturing, responsive mobile design, Salesforce or Adobe Experience Manager, B2B and B2C experience design, visual design, industrial design, or content writing.
