Job summary

Eide Bailly is seeking a Tax Accountant with strong tax accounting experience to join our team in Bengaluru. You will prepare and review tax returns, interact with clients, and help drive our advisory services for a diverse set of industries.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, 7+ years of tax experience, and a CPA or EA license. You will collaborate with associates and senior staff, ensuring timely delivery, accuracy, and compliant billing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.

• Valid CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews business and individual tax returns.
• Prepares high level tax returns and signs completed tax returns.
• Interviews clients to obtain information for tax returns or other projects.
• Reviews tax accruals and attends meetings with auditors regarding tax issues.
• Manages client relationships by monitoring client needs and building value into professional service.
• Evaluates the costs, benefits and risks of alternative solutions to client problems or needs.
• Performs tax research and other special projects as they occur.
• Mentors staff and participates in developing tax practice.

Develops business with clients and is responsible for billing clients for accounting services provided.

• Supervises and delegates duties to Associate and Senior Associate level staff.
• Provides mentoring and technical training for employees in the tax department.
• Manages client billing for accounting services provided.
• Develops business with clients within industries and markets that meet Firm objectives.
• Participates in community organizations and industry functions.
• Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.
• Maintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• 7+ years of experience in tax accounting required.
• Valid Certified Public Accountant license or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification required.
