Job summary

Qualifications

• Diagnose and treat urological diseases in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Perform urological procedures and surgeries with proper clinical privileges.
• Coordinate with radiology, nephrology, anaesthesia and other departments for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and diagnose urological conditions such as kidney stones and prostate disorders.
• Conduct OPD consultations and provide treatment plans.
• Perform urological procedures and surgeries as per qualifications.
• Manage inpatient cases and provide pre- and post-operative care.
• Handle urological emergencies, including urinary obstruction and acute retention.
• Interpret diagnostic reports (ultrasound, CT scans, and labs).
• Coordinate with radiology, nephrology, anaesthesia and other departments for patient management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and discharge summaries.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and infection control practices.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, surgical risks, and follow-up care.
