Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Urologist role based in Kodinar. The Urologist will diagnose and manage a broad range of urological conditions, perform urological surgeries, and provide inpatient and outpatient care. Daily responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and providing follow-up care. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in clinical case discussions, and contributing to patient education and counseling. The Urologist will also adhere to hospital protocols, maintain accurate medical records, and support quality improvement and infection control standards within the department.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine and Urology, with the ability to manage common and complex urological conditions.
• Proficiency in Surgery with experience in open and minimally invasive urological procedures.
• Experience or training in Robotic Surgery for advanced urological interventions is highly desirable.
• Clinical competence in Pediatric Urology to manage urological conditions in children is an added advantage.
• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and postgraduate qualification in Urology (MCh/DNB or equivalent).
• Valid medical license/registration with relevant medical council and compliance with local regulatory requirements.
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Willingness to participate in continued medical education, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
