Job summary

Alike Thoughts is seeking an Ab Initio Developer to design and implement ETL solutions and data warehousing architectures. The role requires deep knowledge of Ab Initio components, SQL, and UNIX scripting, with hands-on experience in parallelism techniques and scheduling tools such as Autosys and Control-M.

You will translate business requirements into robust ETL designs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong Data warehousing concepts with good analytic skills.
• Thorough understanding in ETL Architecture and be able to design solutions in ETL.
• Knowledge of Ab Initio components: Scan, join, Partition by key, Partition by Round Robin, Gather, Merge, Interleave, Lookup.
• Experience extracting business requirements and proposing ETL solutions.
• Experience in Ab Initio parallelism techniques and graphs using Data, Pipeline Component parallelisms.
• Understanding of Continuous flow graphs and generic graphs implementation.
• Experience with scheduling tools like Autosys, Control-M.
• Designing generic flow: continuous, batch and plan.
• Expertise in SQL and UNIX shell scripting.

JD:

1.Strong Data warehousing concepts with good analytic skills.

2.Thorough understanding in ETL Architecture and being able to provide designs and solutions independently in ETL.

3.Good knowledge on all Components of Ab Initio such as Scan, join, Partition by key,

Partition by Round Robin, Gather, Merge, Interleave, Lookup etc.

4.Extracting business requirement and proposing suitable technical solution from ETL side.

5.Good expereience in Abinitio parallelism techniques, Abinitio Graphs using Data, Pipeline Component parallelisms.

6.Excellent understanding of Continuous flow graphs and its implementation generic graphs.

7.Experience in Scheduling tools like Autosys, Control-M etc.
