Job summary

Novateur Electrical & Digital Systems is seeking a motivated Service Engineer to join the Service & Support team in Delhi. The candidate will attend customer service requirements, breakdown calls, preventive maintenance, installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of UPS systems and related equipment.

Role requires technical understanding, willingness to travel to customer sites, problem solving, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits.
• Basic understanding of UPS systems, batteries, power electronics, and electrical equipment.
• Ability to read and understand basic electrical/electronic drawings and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdown calls and customer complaints within the required timeline.
• Attend preventive maintenance, minor service calls, installations, and commissioning as assigned.
• Troubleshoot UPS systems and identify electrical, electronic, battery, and system related faults.
• Handle repeat breakdowns with appropriate technical support and escalation when required.
• Prepare and submit accurate service reports, installation reports, commissioning reports, and preventive maintenance reports.
• Coordinate with the Service Manager and technical team for critical or unresolved issues.
• Travel to customer locations as required for service and technical support.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically oriented Service Engineer to join our

Service & Support team. The candidate will be responsible for attending customer

service requirements, breakdown calls, preventive maintenance, installations,

commissioning, and troubleshooting of UPS systems and related electrical/electronic

equipment.

The role requires good technical understanding, willingness to travel to customer sites,

problem solving ability, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned breakdown calls and customer complaints within the

required timeline.

• Attend preventive maintenance (PM), minor service calls, installations, and

commissioning as assigned.

• Troubleshoot UPS systems and identify electrical, electronic, battery, and

system related faults.

• Handle repeat breakdowns with appropriate technical support and escalation

when required.

• Identify the root cause of equipment failures and implement suitable

corrective actions.

• Work toward reducing repeated customer complaints, equipment downtime,

and unnecessary spare consumption.

• Provide proper customer feedback, service updates, and technical reports to

the Service Manager.

• Prepare and submit accurate service reports, installation reports,

commissioning reports, and preventive maintenance reports.

• Ensure proper site preparation, installation, commissioning, testing, and

documentation for higher-kVA UPS systems.

• Follow approved service procedures, safety standards, and company guidelines

while working at customer sites.

Internal

• Check system performance after repair, installation, or commissioning and

ensure proper handover to the customer.

• Coordinate with the Service Manager and technical team for critical or

unresolved issues.

• Maintain proper records of tools, spare parts, replaced components, and service

activities.

• Maintain professional communication and a positive relationship with

customers.

• Travel to customer locations as required for service and technical support.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge of UPS systems, batteries, electrical

systems, and power electronics.

Educational Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Candidates from related electrical/electronics backgrounds may also be

considered based on technical aptitude.

Experience

• Freshers are welcome.
• No prior work experience is required.
• Candidates with relevant service, electrical, electronics, UPS, or power

electronics experience may also be considered.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits.
• Basic understanding of UPS systems, batteries, power electronics, and

electrical equipment.

• Ability to read and understand basic electrical/electronic drawings and wiring
