Job summary

Movate Technologies in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Linux DevOps Support Engineer to join our operations team. You will apply strong Linux administration skills to provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot complex infra issues, and help automate deployment pipelines with CI/CD, Terraform, and Python.

The role involves working with HPC environments, HashiCorp Vault, cloud and hybrid infrastructures, and collaborating with development, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents

Qualifications

• Honours hands-on Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in automation, CI/CD, and cloud infra.

• Scripting in Shell/Bash or Python.

We are looking for a Linux DevOps Support Engineer with strong Linux administration, troubleshooting, automation, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure knowledge. The candidate should have hands-on exposure to High-Performance Computing (HPC) and HashiCorp tools, particularly Terraform and Vault.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 Linux and DevOps production support.
• Troubleshoot Linux OS, application, network, performance, and infrastructure-related issues.
• Manage Linux services, processes, permissions, storage, packages, logs, and scheduled jobs.
• Support infrastructure provisioning and automation using Terraform /High-Performance Computing (HPC)
• Work with High-Performance Computing (HPC) for secrets and access-related operations.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot build/deployment failures.
• Automate operational activities using Shell/Bash or Python scripting.
• Monitor infrastructure and applications, analyze alerts/logs, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support deployments across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Work with development, infrastructure, security, and application teams for incident resolution.
• Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
