Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an HRO Specialist for UK Payroll to manage end-to-end Hire-to-Retire processes, ensuring accurate data handling, local compliance, and smooth employee lifecycle management. You will maintain payroll data, validate timesheets, prepare reports, and support audits while upholding data privacy and collaborating with clients and employees.

Experience with Workday or SAP SuccessFactors is preferred, along with strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience in HR Operations & Payroll with exposure to Hire-to-Retire processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Employee Life cycle.
  • Proficiency in global HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in UK Payroll Summary Sheet and other relevant payroll systems.
  • Review and validate timesheets, attendance records, and employee leave balances.
  • Confirm all required documentation for new hires, terminations, or other personnel changes is collected and accurately entered for correct payroll processing.
  • Prepare and maintain payroll data reports for review by management.
  • Prepare and review Payroll calendar and SOPs and get it approved from the client.
  • Adhere to company policies and data privacy standards.
  • Support internal and external audits related to Pre-payroll and payroll operations.
  • Reconcile payroll-related accounts and reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Suggest improvements to streamline pre-payroll processes and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure timely updation of all the necessary reports after payroll.
  • Serve as a point of contact for Client as well as employees regarding payroll inquiries or issues.
  • Review and validate tickets and respond within the TAT.

Role Overview

The HRO Specialist will manage the end-to-end Hire-to-Retire process, ensuring seamless employee lifecycle management. This role focuses on accurate data handling, local compliance, and smooth execution of employee data management and exit processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, process orientation, and experience in HR systems and data governance.

Key Responsibilities
