Persistent is seeking an experienced UiPath Developer to architect AI-driven automation that blends UiPath RPA with Agentic AI, LLMs, and autonomous decision-making. The role focuses on design, development, and end-to-end deployment of cognitive business processes in Pune.

The ideal candidate will lead scalable automation projects, collaborate with AI engineers and automation teams, and drive governance, testing, and production readiness while adopting best practices across enterprise workflows.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in Automation, RPA, or Intelligent Automation.
• Hands-on expertise in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, AI Center, Agent Builder, Autopilot.
• Experience integrating LLMs and AI services into enterprise processes.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, web services, and SQL databases.
• UiPath Advanced RPA Developer certification preferred.

About Position:

We are seeking an experienced UiPath Developer with strong expertise in Agentic AI, Intelligent Automation, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying next-generation automation solutions that combine traditional UiPath RPA capabilities with AI-powered agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), and autonomous decision-making frameworks. This role requires hands‑on experience with UiPath Agent Builder, Autopilot, workflow orchestration, AI prompting, and enterprise automation to deliver end‑to‑end cognitive business processes.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI-powered automation agents using UiPath Agent Builder and Autopilot.
• Build intelligent workflows that combine traditional RPA with Agentic AI capabilities.
• Implement autonomous agents capable of planning, reasoning, and executing complex business tasks.
• Develop AI-driven solutions that support non-linear workflows and intelligent decision-making.
• Design and develop enterprise-grade UiPath automation workflows.
• Integrate traditional RPA robots with AI agents to support end-to-end business process automation.
• Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation components following UiPath best practices.
• Leverage the Agent Catalog and reusable automation assets to accelerate delivery.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI services into enterprise workflows.
• Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve AI agent accuracy and effectiveness.
• Structure data and contextual information to optimize AI-agent decision-making.
• Develop workflows that enable intelligent document processing, reasoning, and automated decision support.
• Perform cloud-based testing and refinement of AI agents using UiPath testing capabilities.
• Monitor agent performance and continuously improve prompts and workflow behavior.
• Troubleshoot automation issues and optimize process execution efficiency.
• Implement governance controls and operational monitoring for production-ready deployments.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, AI engineers, and automation teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Create technical documentation, solution designs, operational procedures, and best practices.
• Support deployment, production monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 8-12 years of experience in Automation, RPA, Software Development, or Intelligent Automation.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in UiPath Studio, UiPath Orchestrator, UiPath AI Center, Agent Builder, and Autopilot.
• Proven experience developing enterprise automation solutions using UiPath.
• Strong understanding of Agentic AI, autonomous agents, and AI-powered workflow orchestration.
• Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and AI services into business processes.
• Expertise in Prompt Engineering and context‑driven AI workflow design.
• Strong understanding of workflow automation, process orchestration, and intelligent decision automation.
• Experience with REST APIs, web services, database integrations, and enterprise application connectivity.
• Knowledge of data structuring, AI reasoning workflows, and cognitive automation patterns.
• Experience testing, optimizing, and deploying AI-powered automation solutions.
• Strong understanding of automation governance, monitoring, security, and operational controls.
• Familiarity with Python, C#, VB.NET, or related programming languages.
• Experience working with SQL databases and enterprise data integrations.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• UiPath Advanced RPA Developer or related UiPath certifications are highly preferred.
