INSIGHT GLOBAL is seeking a UI/UX Engineer in Hyderabad to design and build interfaces that make IG Labs' agentic systems usable and trusted. You will own the entire frontend experience from sketches to shipped interfaces, focusing on adoption, accessibility, and performance.

You will work with React and TypeScript, contribute to a design system, and collaborate with Technical Architects and other engineers in a POD.

Designing and Building the Interfaces That Make Agents Usable

The Role

We are looking for a UI/UX Engineer to design and build the interfaces that make IG Labs' agentic systems usable and trusted. An agent only delivers value if people act on it, and that comes down to the surfaces where humans meet the system: the review and approval screens, the agent consoles, the dashboards that make autonomy legible. You both design and build those surfaces in production. This is core delivery engineering, not a finishing touch applied at the end.

You take on the hardest product problems in our client work: the human-in-the-loop workflow that has to earn an operator's trust, the dense decision interface that has to feel simple, the dashboard that turns an agent's work into something a stakeholder believes. You own the experience from first sketch to shipped interface, and you are accountable for whether people actually adopt it.

Everything you build, you build to last beyond one client. The component libraries, design system, and interaction patterns you create become Factory IP that compounds across every engagement, so each project starts ahead of the last. You are a senior engineer in our delivery organization, based in India, working within the POD model alongside the Technical Architects, Forward Deployed Engineers, and the Data and Technical/Field engineers who build the rest of the system.

Key Responsibilities

Designing & Building the Interface

• Design and build the surfaces where humans meet agents: review and approval UIs, agent consoles, and decision dashboards.
• Own both sides of the craft: the UX (flows, interaction, and the trust an operator needs to act on an agent's output) and the front-end implementation in production code.
• Prototype fast, put it in front of real users, and refine. Treat adoption as a design outcome you are accountable for, not a hope.
• Make complex, data-dense workflows feel simple, and make autonomy legible enough that people trust it.
• Shape genuinely architectural decisions with the Technical Architect, contributing the patterns that become standard.

Front-End Engineering

• Build production front-ends with modern tooling (React, TypeScript) that are responsive, accessible, and performant.
• Integrate cleanly with agent, data, and API backends, handling real-world states: latency, streaming, partial results, and failure.
• Instrument interfaces for adoption signals, so the team can see what users actually do and iterate on evidence.
• Hold a high bar for craft: the polish that makes the difference between a tool people tolerate and one they trust.

Delivering in Client Engagements

• Own your work end to end within live client engagements, from first sketch to a shipped, adopted interface.
• Bring the deep design and front-end expertise a client engagement depends on, as a peer to the Technical Architects, Forward Deployed Engineers, and other engineers in the POD.
• Maintain the documentation and handoff discipline that distributed, multi-client delivery requires, so your work is easy to pick up, extend, and reuse.
• Be available for the hard, real-time problems that need a working session, not a write-up.

Building Reusable Capability

• Turn everything you build into reusable capability: component libraries, a design system, and interaction patterns for human-in-the-loop and agent interfaces that make the next engagement faster.
• Partner with the Technical Architect to abstract, validate, and document what you build for the IP library.
• Actively drive Reuse Index. The interface foundations you create are how the next project starts ahead of where the last one finished.
• Treat capability-building as core, not overhead. Every interface you ship should leave the Factory stronger.

What This Role Is Not:

• Not a designer who hands off mockups. You design and you build, in production code.
• Not a front-end developer waiting for specs. You own the experience end to end, from the first sketch to the shipped interface.
• Not an internal tools team. You build the systems clients pay for, not internal tooling for its own sake.
• Not a Forward Deployed Engineer. The FDE leads the engagement on the ground at the client; you design and build the interfaces the engagement delivers to its users. Different seats, both core.
• Not the Technical Architect. The TA sets architecture and standards across engagements; you build the systems within them and shape the patterns that become standards.

Qualifications

Strongly Preferred

8+ years designing and building production web interfaces, with genuine depth in both product and UX design and front-end engineering. A true hybrid, not one side with a hobbyist grasp of the other. Strong with modern front-end (React, TypeScript), design tooling (Figma), and design systems. Experience designing for complex, data-dense, or workflow-heavy applications. Cares deeply about adoption and trust, and can prove impact with real usage. A clear written communicator who collaborates well across a distributed team.

Experience designing and building interfaces for AI or agentic products: human-in-the-loop review, agent consoles, and decision support. Strength in accessibility and data visualization. Experience in a consulting, professional services, or client-delivery environment. Familiarity with the access and compliance constraints of regulated clients in financial services or healthcare.
